One of the great culinary pairings: risotto and truffles. Tartufi Jimmy combines creamy carnaroli  risotto rice with black truffles and a blend of spices that comes together with minimal preparation and maximum flavor.  It differs from normal rice in that during cooking the grains become sticky and form a creamy bulk. The better risotto is made from Carnaroli rice. 

This type of rice is somewhat harder and after cooking it is soft on the outside and more firm on the inside. So just like pasta, typically 'al dente'. Adding dried black truffles to the rice creates a delicious truffle risotto. You make the tastiest truffle risotto by adding (Parmesan) cheese, truffle sauces or truffle oil.

Use: toast the rice for 1 minute in a pan with a little oil. Meanwhile bring to boil vegetable broth or salt water; joined gradually the broth to the rice, stirring. At the end of cooking stir in butter and Parmesan or with our Sauces Truffle  to make the tastiest dish.

Method of preservation: Store in a cool, dry place, away from light and heat sources.

Use: for optimal cooking we recommend using plenty of water. When boiling, add salt, pour the dough and mix gently after it has softened. Cooking time 2/3 minutes. Season with a little butter and serve hot.
