The wild and very rustic Boar fully represents this wine, which is also rustic and apparently angular yet breaks down any prejudice once tasted.
Fresh and fruity wine, 100% Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, from a late harvest of carefully selected grapes. Vinified without any addition of sulphites and through spontaneous fermentation, it offers a genuine expression of Abruzzo and Montepulciano. The resulting wine is aged for a short period in steel, about 2 months, and then in the bottle for at least 3 months.
Vinification: Alcoholic fermentation on the skins by natural yeasts, in steel. Shortly after, the malolactic fermentation takes place spontaneously thanks to the lactic bacteria naturally present in the wine.
Nose: Intense, persistent and fine, with aromas of just ripe blackberry, black cherry, black currant and flowers such as violet. Deep ruby red in the glass, with a dusty and floral profile and a pleasant ripe black cherry character.
Taste :Warm, dry, savory and with a touch of roughness that recalls the ancient flavors, well balanced and persistent. Harmonious on the palate with fleshy wild berry fruits, brisk acidity and a perfumed finish. Accompanies first courses with sauce, red meats, roasts and aged cheeses.
