VARIETAL: Kerner 100%

AREA: The Kerner grapes for this wine come from selected vineyards in the Burggrafenamt region, in Alto Adige.

CULTIVATION: Guyot

VINIFICATION: An accurate harvest after a year of hard work in the vineyard is the prerequisite for starting the first stages of pressing. After careful destemming, the must is delicately pressed. The temperature of the must is adjusted to around 17°C and then fermentation can begin. After about two weeks, the first racking of the coarse yeasts is carried out. In the following months the young wine matures in steel barrels with a slight mixing of the fine yeasts. Around April of the following year, the wine is bottled.

AROMA: Intense, slightly spicy with muscat, aromatic, fruity with notes of peach, apricot, mandarin, and green apple.

COLOUR : Straw yellow with green reflections.

PALATE : Strong acidity with balanced fruity sweetness, mineral and persistent finish.

PAIRING : Appetizers, asparagus-based dishes, vegetable and fish dishes, molluscs and crustaceans.

Serving Temperature: 8-10°
