Organic Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Wine from Torre Raone

Grapes : Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC (from organic farming)

Type of soil: Clayey - calcareous

Harvest: Mid October

Storage: 9 months in steel and 6 months in bottle

Vinificaition : The fermentation is spontaneous by indigenous yeasts, ranging from 7 to 10 days of maceration in steel containers. During the winter, malolactic fermentation occurs spontaneously at a controlled temperature of 18 ° C.

Nose : Intense, persistent and fine, with aromas of blackberry, raspberry, black cherry, plum, blueberry and violet.

Taste : Fresh and fruity red wine, highly drinkable, it presents itself in the mouth with strong and sweet flavors of ripe red fruit such as blackberry, raspberry, black cherry and plum. It has a remarkable persistence with soft and velvety tannins, very balanced and harmonious. Montepulciano is a red wine that accompanies red meats, braised meats, roasts, aged cheeses and also appetizers of cold cuts and cheeses.
