Impostino Montecucco Riserva Doc
It is a succulent, with the texture and lively structure driving the plumb, eucaliptus, tobacco and earth flavours. It is warm, soft, full-bodied to taste, with a remarkable balance, where the freshness and the tannin well balance the alcohol charge. The final result long and very satisfying.
Varietal: 80% Sangiovese, 20% Merlot, Syrah, Petit Verdot
Area of Production: Maremma, 350 m above sea level
Soil: Clay, fertile, high quality of organic matter and rich of thin skeleton
Harvest : Time: end of September, manual
Vinification : Grapes are carefully picked and sorted on a belt in the winery to be fermented for 15 days
In the Cellar: 18 months ageing in barrels and cement on its lees, then aged in the bottle for 6 month
Alcohol: 14.6%
Serving Temperature: 18 degrees C
Pairings : It is a wine of great versatility and it elegantly joins important cold meats, cheeses, prime dishes with spicy notes like such as roe deer, Carbonara pappardelle, rabbit, roasts, chicken and lamb chops.
